Fringe Scissor Fun!!

I have been playing with my new Fringe Scissors!!! The first card was inspired from our upcoming trip to Hawaii - ALOOOOOOHA! Hubby and I are going in June -25 years after we last went for our honeymoon! The main colour I used is Baked Brown Sugar.
The other 3 cards I call my 'pinata' cards - as they remind me of them! Some people call it ombre cards - either way they are fun!
hope you all survived the BIG storm - cough cough! I reckon it was a conspiracy by the bottled water and battery companies!!!! lol better safe than sorry though eh!

quick tag cards

A friend of mine, Vicky, made some cool cards and they inspired me to see how I could expand the same basic concept and these 4 are some samples. They are all fun and easy - amazing how using different colours, papers, washi, stamps etc create such different cards.

Oh and yesterday I got the new Hip Hip Hooray Card kit so sat down and just 90 mins later I had 20 cards completed!! Such cool value at $38.95 - have you ordered yours yet??

Felt Brooches

Sorry more scalloped flower die projects today! hee hee - this time it's brooches! The two on the far left (both red and white) ones are 'double' cut out ones wound together - the other three are single ones. They are SOOOOO easy to make - you can just use hot glue gun to put them all together. I went and got some more felt today so plan to make heaps more! I STILL LOVE THIS DIE!!! lol

Lolly-pop Bouquet

Today I was making flowers again - this time they included lolly pops!! Again I used the Scalloped Flower die - used two cut outs for each flower. They are quite easy to make - I used sticky strip and snail. Lots of fun!

Paper Roses (not the song!!)

I have a big presentation next week at a garden club so I've been creating some items for display. They have a 'bloom of the day' display so I thought I would make some paper ones to sneak it in and see if they will notice! lol These are made using our new scalloped flower die. I have used Primrose Petals - but I 'felted' the card stock, which means I separated the top and bottom of each cut piece. Then I wrapped the two pieces together. Quiet pleased how they turned out. I made the leaves too - I just hand cut the shapes, felted them and then put wire between the two layers.
There will be more 'floral' items to share over the next week.
Thanks for visiting. And yes I have THAT song in my head too now! hee hee

HIP HIP HOORAY!!!!!!

Now this is one of the BEST things I've seen bought out by Stampin' Up! for a while. It is a FABULOUS card kit for new or experienced crafters. This kit has EVERYTHING you need to make 20 cards - including the card bases, envelopes, 3 clear mount stamps, one clear block, a Basic Grey Stampin' Spot (ink pad), some thread and clips, a heap of self adhesive tags AND full colour instructions on how to put together 20 different cards!!! At only $38.95 it's a GREAT deal.
-You could gift someone the unmade pack who has never crafted but you know they will love it!
-You could make all the cards up and give them bundled up as a present.
-You could just make them up and have 20 cards ready for ANY occasion needed!!

Let me know how many you'd like me to order for you! lol
